Born in Liverpool, England, Ilan Shaw is a solo artist who has just completed recordings for his debut album, Pedestal. Ilan learned the guitar aged 8 and has taken influence from artists such as the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Oasis, Killers, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Neil Young and the Kinks
His new album 'Pedestal' demonstrates all the anthemic swirling guitar riffs, soft but ear grabbing vocals, irritatingly catchy melody's, and musical variety you could hope to find in any composition by such illustrious artists.
